JUSTICE HAS BEEN BUTCHERED

It was cold
Chilled and freezing
The cold grip infested all over
The frosted wind blew
From east to west,North and South
The test of heat was vanquished

It was dark
The highest degree of unillumination
Light rays lost its alleys
The fluorescents lost essence
Darkness invaded languorously
The ecstasy of sight subdued,
By it's emissaries

She was cold
Lying on the floor
Swimming in the pool of Her blood
As It trickled from the upper limbs
Down the bosom
through to the lower limbs
The eyes frosted with mist

She was dark
Thoughts lost purpose
Her heart languished
in the spheres of Limbo
Swirling in deep quagmires
And darkness caressed the soul

She's six feet down
Striped, ripped and killed
Once the lovebird of many
Once the sweet song on lips of them
The cherry on their swift tongues
The fragrance that diffused in their nostrils
The beautiful rose to gaze on
Alas she's been harassed
Assassinated and murdered
Justice in my nation has been butchered!
