Collins Aiterebhe

Biography: ...I recall the pernicious vent of inanity, an attorney of songs; a kiss of imaginative empathy that dwells occasionally in artistic isolation!

MARRIAGE OF THE SOUTH

One Fr John Bull

Of the Elizabethan faith

Took Tolu and Uloma

Blind underage virgins

Veilless brides

Bako led emissaries

Wide and tall

Love danced at a million mile

To the dead lullaby

Of stuttering rifle shots

Rites were paid with haste

And the South was given away!
