Syntax & Struggles

A crash one day, the systems fell,
A silent echo, a warning bell.
From ashes rose the frantic pace,
To mend lost code, a scattered race.

Not one, but many paths I tread,
Old projects calling from the dead.
From C#’s grip to Next.js light,
Then Python's charm deep in the night.

PHP would tempt with snacks and tease,
A dev’s buffet, no moment's ease.
Yet through it all, I bore the strain,
Till tired thoughts clouded my brain.

Commands once clear began to blur,
flask run dev—a comic slur.
I laughed, then sighed, my circuits sore,
This coder’s heart could take no more.

So now I pause, withdraw the fight,
To rest, reflect, and sleep at night.
For even engines built to last,
Must slow their pace, not run too fast.
