Aloneness In a Crowd.

I'm alone, not the aloneness of loneliness,

but the kind that envelopes me in a crowded mall,

amidst the frantic rush of feet and voices.

As I turn, I find myself on a track,

a driverless train speeding down its path,

and I, a stranded figure, lost in the confusion,

a ghost drifting through a blurred reality.

The chaos around me is a silent scream,

the shared space, nothing more than a fleeting dream.

Loneliness, a paradox, clings like a shadow,

a presence amid the throng,

a silent, sinking ship in a stormy sea.
