Love Limerick 2

A young heart once drifted astray,

Till love lit a bright gentle way.

With a smile so divine,

You made all stars align,

And turned night into radiant day.

Nirvanic silence

The west wind swept my fragile joy away,

And left me wandering the valley of sorrow.

On the shoreline, joy lies drowned,

Its laughter silenced by the rising crest,

Where sorrow sails triumphant on the tide.

Night descends—

exalting the sanctity of despair,

a solemn hymn,

a lullaby for fading self-esteem.

The past, grown old,

boomerangs to haunt the present;

the future breathes only

in the trembling pulse of lucid dreams.

The brutal brunt of cremated ambition

scatters as ash upon the air.

Destiny, reduced to nonsense,

shadows me like a sleepwalker’s ghost.

Entangled in the whirlwind of reality,

I seek a door, a crack, a way beyond,

yet failure feels already foretold.

And Nirvana—

Nirvana never existed.

Author’s Note

This poem is a meditation on the search for peace in a world where hope often feels like an illusion. Nirvanic Silence does not celebrate the promise of liberation, but rather questions whether such freedom from suffering ever truly exists. It is a reflection of the soul’s struggle in the face of despair, where silence becomes both a refuge and a reminder of emptiness.

Corona virus

Corona virus pandemic

a great destroyer of academics

spreading rapidly beyond Atlantic's;

You are generally considered satanic

Corona virus; COVID nineteen,

We have no weapon for fighting

So, preventing is the right thing

Definitely you are a bad thing.

Corona virus, we are not your prey

Even if you did not give us chance to pray

I assert you are here astray

And you will be no more someday

Corona virus is only what they say

Newspaper has no other thing to display

Nose cover is becoming the order of the day

tell me, where do we start our relay

Corona virus - the embezzlers ingredient

Secretly devouring morals like rodents

Don't think you are prudent

Surely you will soon regret

Corona virus, you are our target,

And I am sure you will soon be in your casket

You think you are wise?; yes but not like serpent

If only our leaders can repent.

NOTE: This was a poem I wrote down during the national lockdown caused by COVID 19. I just decide to post it on this platform to showcase my poetic artistry.

It was my first poem though.

Love Limerick

You made me sit on the terrace
I lurk around the corridors
Sniggers of niggers I hear,
I was never allowed in
Your heart.
