A Greater Nigeria

NIGERIA, the most populous black nation on Earth nicknamed the "Giant of Africa". " Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress" which is our National Motto.

Such accolade given to a Nation who doesn't even deserve the credit. We say unity and faith when we can't unite as one country despite our large number of ethnicity and culture, we say faith when we can't put or trust in Men of honor and respect to lead our country right; because, the so called men of honor has succeed in breaking our faith beyond repair to the extent were we can't trust the best men for the job. So much for being the Giants of Africa.

We are meant to be a country in which others respect and look up to, a country were many desire to go to. But that won't be possible if we can't stand together as one Nation.

The only word of encouragement that we need to hear is " To overlook every of our flaws, and work together to remove ourselves from the claws of distrust and hate, and to learn to trust and love each other wholeheartedly. We must rise as patriots to defend our country against bad government and to work to achieve our National motto which is " Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress" because that's all we need to do to achieve a "Greater Nigeria".

The Call Of Nigeria

Arise O compatriots
Nigeria's call obey
to serve our fathers land
with love and strength and faith
the labor of our heroes past
shall never be in vain
to serve with heart and might
one nation bound in freedom
peace and unity.
#National Anthem

Peace and unity they say, when all we see is war and conflict, pain and hardship. We say we are one Nigeria, when our brothers are fighting each other because of inequality, religion and tribe.

Nigeria, Nigeria, our fathers land. Our fathers has labored so that there won't be blood sheds, but what do we see now? All we see are killings all around the country, done by the men we trusted with our lives, done by the men we hope to help us fight injustice.

Our leaders, our leaders, we relied on you to listen to our cries, but you turned deaf ears. Now its time for we the youth to stand up to the truth, and not let peace cease from our nation Nigeria.

But now youths, we let ourselves to be used by the evil men of this country, we let them pollute our voices. And now, we are guilty of the duty we failed to perform as one peaceful voice.

But its not to late too stand by the truth, its not too late to bring peace and unity to our nation Nigeria. So its time to arise as one voice, and listen to the call of Nigeria, to serve our country with love and strength and faith, to serve with all our hearts and might, to make this nation Nigeria bound in freedom, peace and unity.
