THE LAST WORD

 I won't explain the storms I've braved,

Nor plead my case with eyes still caved.

I've swallowed fire, danced with pain,

And wore my silence like a chain.

You see a hand, a rebel pose

But not the path that no one chose.

This middle finger, sharp and high,

Is how I learned to say goodbye.

Not to love, nor hope, nor grace

But to the ones who shamed my face.

To chains disguised as calm advice,

To sugar words that tasted nice.

So here's my truth: I will not bend.

This is my wound. This is the end.

Or maybe, just the start of me

Raw, unfiltered, finally free.

Agony of Motherhood

When sorrow's pangs my motherly heart do pierce,

And tears, like summer's showers, do freely flow,

The weight of care, the burden of my peace,

Do make my heart a heavy load to know.

The cries, the needs, the constant, nagging fears,

The doubts that creep, and will not depart,

The joy that's mixed with worry, and with tears,

Do make my life a tumultuous heart.

But still, I bear this burden with a grin,

And pray for strength to guide them through life's spin,

For though the agony of motherhood is real,

My love for them does make my heart reveal.

And in their smiles, my heart finds peaceful nest,

And all the agony is worth the rest.

Her Pen,Their Freedom

You wrote in ink the weight of silence,

turning hushed rooms into echoing songs.

From Ibuza’s dust to London’s cold streets,

your words carried the strength of mothers,

the long endurance of daughters,

the quiet rebellion of women who refuse to disappear.

You showed us that exile is not only a place,

but a wound stitched with memory and hope.

That love, when bound by chains of tradition,

must still be questioned,

must still seek its own freedom.

In your pages, girls found their names again,

wives stood tall before the storm,

and the poor, the unheard, the unseen

became immortal through your pen.

Now your stories walk without you,

their footprints pressed on every shore.

Buchi, your voice is river and fire

it will not die,

it flows on,

it burns on,

it teaches us to live unbroken.

How I Relocate Shadow In Sky

I chase the shadows, that dance upon the wall

Reflections of dreams, that echo through it all

In the sky's vast canvas, I search for a place

To relocate these shadows, and give them a space

With every step, they shift and play

Elusive and fleeting, they dance away

Yet in their darkness, I find a spark

A light that guides me, through the endless dark

Perhaps in clouds, they'll find a new home

Where they can roam free, and never be alone

Or maybe in moonlight, they'll find their nest

And in the stars, their secrets will rest

But till then, I'll follow their gentle sway

And relocate these shadows, come what may.
